Consumers are increasingly demanding that products be produced, distributed and disposed of in a manner that is consistent with the values expressed in the concepts of sustainable development and fair business and that they are healthy.
IBD is an internationally recognized entity that has a historical link with independent verification of the adequacy of products, processes and services regarding fair business and sustainable development.
In order to support organizations that are guided by the principles of quality assurance and need to demonstrate that they meet their own requirements for sustainable development and fair business, IBD has instituted the “Certified Quality” seal, which independently and continuously attests that the organization complies with by its own criteria in accordance with the concepts of “environmentally sound, socially fair and economically appropriate and viable”. This Guideline indicates how IBD monitors the programs of organizations that use the seal through audits and certification.
The seal aims to demonstrate to society that the product, process or service meets the normative standards and / or technical regulations established by the company itself, which decided to produce consciously and in accordance with the modern concepts of respect for nature and the human being, approved in accordance with the minimum requirements prescribed by the IBD “Certified Quality” seal.
